The province’s Special Investigations Unit is involved after a 28-year-old man was killed in a collision involving the motorcycle he was driving last night (Saturday).
The SIU says Durham Region Police were in pursuit of the motorcycle after it was allegedly spotted driving at high speeds in Pickering.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Special Investigations Unit investigates incidents of death, serious injury, or allegations of sexual assault where there is police involvement.
