Belleville’s Yoko Dozono has successfully passed her 4th degree Black Belt exams.
She received her 4 Dan certificate from the Shotokan Karate International Federation of Canada.
Yoko is a graduate of Nicholson Catholic College and is now working in Japan.
Her father, Kenzo Dozono, a 9th degree Black Belt and a member of the Belleville Sports Hall of Fame was presented with an appreciation plague for his 50 years of dedication to Karate instruction in Canada.
