A 20-year veteran of diagnostic imaging at Trenton Memorial Hospital has received special recognition from Quinte Health Care’s Board of Directors.
At a board meeting Tuesday, Medical Radiation Technologist Angie Clements was singled out for her hard work, dedication, and great attitude.
A Medical Radiation Technologist performs X-rays, CT scans or MRIs.
Clements was described as hard working, competent and compassionate, and more than willing to help patients, colleagues, and students alike.
Meanwhile, in an unrelated but similar matter, QHC’s board heard that Medical Laboratory Technologist Kim Stephenson had been given the A.R. Shearer Pride of the Profession Award from the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science.
The award is presented annually to a maximum of five laboratory professionals across Canada who demonstrate pride through their leadership, outstanding achievements and commitment to excellence.
