The annual Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life was held this weekend in Belleville.
Saturday afternoon, about 150 participants took part at Loyalist College.
From 4:00 p.m. to midnight, fundraisers walked the track, all in an effort to support cancer research.
Event spokeswoman Jessia Klein tells Quinte News they have collected about $51,000, but a few more dollars are still to be collected.
The goal was $52,000.
