Quinte West has joined other local municipal governments, the province, New York State and others to investigate Plan 2014.
The International Joint Commission’s water management plan monitors water levels through the shores of Lake Ontario and the St Lawrence River.
Due to record flooding twice in the last three years, Quinte West joined Brighton, The County and others demanding a formal investigation into Plan 2014 and its effects.

He says it is affecting shorelines, peoples properties, and infrastructure.
MPPs, MPs, mayors, reeves, and the governor of New York State also want an investigation.
