Darts Ontario team wins gold
For the first time 3 local players have made the Darts Ontario team at the same time and have gold medals to show for their efforts at the National Dart Championships in Saskatoon.
Kim Whaley Hilts competed in her 32nd consecutive national competition. Marilyn Loft in her second with Steve Empy making his debut on the national stage.
They competed in the 501 singles, the mens and ladies doubles and the mixed doubles. Team Ontario finished first overall followed by Nova Scotia.

Another Hole-In-One for Dean
Most golfers have never known the joy of one Hole-In-One. Rick Dean of Stockdale is not one of them.
Dean aced the 122 yard 17th hole at Murray Hills Golf Course using an 8 iron.
This is the 6th Hole-in-One for Dean.
