The road will be closed for some time, but the flooding over Trenton Frankford Road is over.
Saturday, a Trent River dam stopped working, which forced water across the road in Glen Miller.
Part of Trenton Frankford Road was washed out near the paper mill.
A house, along with staff at the mill were evacuated.
A car also ended up in the river.
The closure of the road starts at Plant St. in Batawa and continues south to the bridge at Johnstown Rd. The bridge at Johnstown Rd. remains open.
Mayor Jim Harrison says security fencing is up, and there is security on scene, along with security at the paper mill.
On Monday an assessment will be done, with the goal to have repairs starting as soon as possible.
