Fail to Remain
Belleville, Ontario – On June 15 at 3:10 p.m., police responded to a fail to remain accident at the intersection of Lemoine St. and Tracey St. The vehicle that police are looking for struck the other vehicle, stopped briefly and then fled the scene. It is described as silver Volkswagen Jetta and was being operated by a male driver. The vehicle should have damage to its front passenger side. Public Intoxication
Belleville, Ontario – On June 14 at 4:00 p.m., police arrested an intoxicated male that was reported to be lying on the caller’s front step after trying to enter a vehicle and after chasing someone into the caller’s home. The 20-year-old Belleville male was held in custody at The Belleville Police Service until sober then released on a provincial offence notice for public intoxication.
Belleville, Ontario – On June 14 at 5:30 p.m., police attended the bus terminal on Pinnacle St. in relation to another intoxicated male. This time, the 34-year-old Belleville male was found passed out in the bathroom. Police housed the male overnight before releasing him on a provincial offence notice for public intoxication.
Domestic Arrest
Belleville, Ontario – On June 15 shortly after 9:00 a.m., police arrested a 25-year-old Belleville male with regards to a domestic incident that was initiated on June 11. The male is being held in custody to appear before a Justice of The Peace via video remand on June 16. Charges include assault and two counts of breaching his probation order. His name is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
