The City of Quinte West has sold some land in its North Murray Industrial Park in Trenton and if all goes
according to plan it will soon be the site of a marijuana growing facility.
There could some retail sales of marijuana products as well.
A necessary step to making the plant a reality will occur Thursday at a meeting of Quinte West’s Planning Advisory Committee.
The committee will decide on a rezoning of the property to allow the business.
The city has already sold the property to a company by the name of Royal Green Cannabis.
