Numbers are still being counted, however a record year could be in the works for the Ride for Hunger.
The motorcycle ride, which started and ended at Belleville’s Market Square, is a major fundraiser for Gleaner’s Food Bank and the Tri-County Warehouse.
Sarah Kring is the Events and Media Coordinator for Gleaners.
Steven Halloran is the Board Chair for Gleaner’s Food Bank.
Live music, a silent auction, a pig roast, vendors, and axe throwing were all part of the event.
It is believed over $5,000 was brought in to the event.
