A whole lot of charges have been laid after a traffic stop by Northumberland OPP earlier this week.
Officers stopped a car in the Village of Hastings, on the afternoon of June 4 and arrested the 34-year-old driver, after finding marijuana, weapons, cocaine and more.
Tyler McDonald of no fixed address is facing a total of 14 charges including:
- Have care or control of vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available
- Have care or control of vehicle or boat with cannabis in open baggage
- Possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling
- Possession of illicit cannabis
- Possession of over 30 grams dried cannabis in a public place
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine (two counts)
- Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Carrying a concealed weapon
- Weapon f or Dangerous purpose
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 (three counts)
- Possess unmarked cigarettes for sale
- Driving while under suspension
- Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
He had a bail hearing in Cobourg court earlier this week.
