(CRAMAHE TOWNSHIP, ON) – Members from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a theft of a flatbed trailer from a property located on County Road 2 east of the town of Colborne.
At approximately 7 a.m. an employee arrived at the location, and found the lock to the entrance gate had been cut and the gate swung open.
He then noticed a flatbed trailer missing from the property.
The security locking mechanism that was attached to the trailer was also found to have been compromised.
The theft is believed to have occurred at approximately 12 a.m. on June 6, 2019.
The trailer is described as being a black 2018 CANA 16-foot long flatbed trailer with VIN # 2CPUSF2CXJA030881 bearing an Ontario licence plate of P49302.
The Northumberland OPP is asking for the public’s assistance with this ongoing investigation and would ask that anyone with information to call their nearest OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
