The MPP for Hastings-Lennox and Addington is urging local non-profit community groups and municipalities to apply for funding from the Seniors Community Grant Program.
Daryl Kramp says funding is available from $1,000 to $25,000, with a deadline of June 27.
He says the program is up to $3 million, to have the province partner with non-profit community organizations and municipalities in the Quinte area and across the province.
Kramp tells Quinte News the program’s goal is to enable seniors to remain healthy, active, and socially connected within their homes and communities as long as they can.
