The value of planned construction projects in Prince Edward County so far this year is higher than it was to the end of May last year.
The county’s building department has issued a total of 320 building permits worth over $42.8 million to the end of last month.
For the first five months of 2018, more permits were issued but the total value was lower, at just over $39 million.
Meanwhile last month 114 permits were issued for a value of just over $14 million.
