The final tally on funds raised at the 2019 Relay for Life in Trenton is still rolling in but organizers are hopeful they will meet their fundraising goal.
Fundraising specialist Lola McMurter says their goal was $65,000.
She expects donations to continue to roll in for the next three weeks online.
The top three fundraising teams at the Trenton Relay for Life included: Team Shortt ($13,609), Whitley Warriors ($6,910) and Dream Team ($6,098).
McMurter says the event wrapped up on Saturday night around 8:30 p.m. because of the weather, and she says that was a loss of about $1,000.
This Friday at 6 p.m. the 10th annual Picton Relay for Life kicks off at the Picton Fairgrounds.
She says they have raised a substantial amount in those ten years.
McMurter says they have a goal of $40,000 and so far have raised $13,000.
People can register online or the day of the relay at the Picton Fairgrounds.
The Belleville Relay for Life will go on June 22.
