A Tweed man and a Marmora man are both scheduled to appear in court in Belleville next month after they were charged following motor vehicle collisions.
Central Hastings OPP say 43-year-old Jason Dafoe is facing multiple charges after he collided with the Madoc Arena on the evening of May 29.
Dafoe has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs, dangerous operation, possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine and drive while suspended.
A passenger, 36-year-old Jeanine Harrison of Tweed is also facing possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine charges and both will appear in court on July 4.
Central Hastings OPP also attended a single vehicle collision on Allan Mills Road in Stirling-Rawdon on Saturday afternoon.
The vehicle ended up half in a ditch and half submerged in water. The driver was not injured.
Tyler Mumby, 32, is facing operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs, operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus), and novice driver BAC above zero.
His driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days. Mumby will appear in court in Belleville, on June 13.
