Northumberland OPP have arrested a suspect in connection with a serious assault incident in the village of Colborne last Thursday evening.
A 50-year-old Colborne man suffered a serious head wound and was airlifted to a trauma centre in Toronto after being found laying on the ground near Victoria Square.
Last evening (Saturday), OPP issued a press release reporting the arrest of 42-year-old Ronald Ryan Clarke of Cramahe Township.
He faces a charge of aggravated assault.
