There’s lots to do for all ages today (Saturday).
In Belleville, the Mayor’s arts week continues as artists ply their trade outdoors in the Arts en Plein air painting festival in various locations and at Zwick’s Park today. It’s the Family Artfest.
Artfest will feature clay sculpting, t-shirt and sand art, rock painting, paper and nature crafts, a petting zoo and music by the Quinte Symphony.
Admission is free and so is parking. Family Artfest goes from 10 until 3 today at Zwick’s Park.
And, in Trenton’s Centennial Park, it’s the annual Barks By the Bay canine festival.
There will be a lure course, the Hot Diggity Dogs, king and queen competition and all kinds of vendors. An artist will be on hand to draw up renditions of you and your best friend.
