The mayor of Stirling-Rawdon believes the community needs to get ready to grow.
At a budget meeting Tuesday night, Mayor Bob Mullin says the village of Stirling only has
infrastructure capacity for another 180 homes and those developments are already in process.

The Mayor says council will be discussing over $3 million in new capital spending to upgrade parts of three streets and the George Street pumping station.
That work would allow more development in the future and Mullin says that will lessen water/sewer charges for users and lessen the local tax burden.
