The Bay of Quinte Boys High School baseball playoffs take place today in Wellington.
Top seed Prince Edward Collegiate plays Centre Hastings at 10 am followed by St. Theresa and Eastside Secondary at 12:30. The winners play in the final at 3.
Girls Soccer
Olivia Lamber and Leah McKisson paced the St. Paul Senior Falcons past the Centennial Chargers 2-1.
In the junior game the Nicholson Crusaders blitzed the Prince Edward Collegiate Panthers 3-nil. Details were not available.
Track and Field
The second step toward the Ontario High School Track and Field championships takes place in Belleville tomorrow.
Athletes from schools in the Bay of Quinte and Kawartha regions compete at Bruce Faulds Track at Mary Ann Sills Park. Spectators are welcome.
Qualifiers will advance to the East Regional Track and Field championships which will also be held in Belleville May 30th and 31st.
