Quinte West residents still have a chance to give their opinions on the proposed new transit route between Trenton and Frankford.
The city’s survey, gathering feedback, wrapped up a couple of weeks ago.
Spokesperson Hannah Brown tells Quinte News that this information was used to create a draft bus route.
City staff then held an open house at the Royal Canadian Legion in Frankford and were also at Riverfest, getting more public input.
Brown says there have been responses from hundreds of people.
Quinte Access is expected to run buses on the route multiple times a day.
Brown says the plan is to have the transit service begin at the end of June or early July.
