Warrant
On May 14, 2019, at 8:40 p.m., a 32-year-old Belleville woman Cynthia Newnham attended the Belleville Police Service to turn herself in on outstanding warrants for one count – possession of stolen property and one count – fail to appear for court. The accused was released and will appear in Belleville court on June 13.
Impaired Driving
On May 14, 2019 at 10:50 p.m., a concerned citizen advised police about a vehicle being driving erratically on Cannifton Road. Police located the vehicle minutes later on Station and Oak Street and a 35-year-old Quinte West man was arrested for impaired driving. The accused would later refuse to provide a breath sample and was charged with one count of failing to provide a breath sample. The accused was later released on a Promise to Appear and will appear in Belleville court on June 6.
