The Chief Operating Officer of the Belleville Senators is about to take on additional responsibilities with the NHL’s Ottawa Senators.
B-Sens Chief Operating Officer Rob Mullowney has been named the Senior Director of Corporate Sales for the NHL club however will also retain the C.O.O’s position with Belleville.
Mullowney assumed the role of Belleville’s first C.O.O. in January 2017. He was tasked with building the teams front office infrastructure from the ground up.
Speaking on CJBQ’s Lorne Brooker Show during McHappy Day, Mullowney described his added role as Senior Director of Corporate Sales with Ottawa.
Meanwhile the President of Hockey Operations Nicolas Ruszkowski is resigning from his position with the Ottawa Senators. No replacement has been named yet.
Ottawa is expected to name their new head coach soon. Belleville’s Troy Mann is a candidate as is current Ottawa coach and Belleville native Marc Crawford. Former Senators coach Jacques Martin has been interviewed along with college coach Nate Leaman
