The high water levels on the Bay of Quinte have prompted the City of Belleville to push back their Pop-Ups on the Bay launch.
The announcement was made on Tuesday afternoon following a meeting between the city and Quinte Conservation.
The launch was scheduled for May 17 in time for the long weekend, but it is expected water levels won’t peak until May 25. At that time, water levels will be re-evaluated and a new launch date set.
The four businesses: Brick Oven Pizza Truck, Cruising Canoes, Doug’s Bicycle and Golden Scoop will have pop-ups at Victoria Park this summer.
