Belleville’s construction activity to the end of April is running well ahead of last year.
Statistics from the city’s building department show building value to date this year at more than $28 million.
This is $7 million over last year, for the same date.
The month of April saw construction value of $20 million, which included nearly $8 million for commercial work and a million more than that for new industrial.
