A 40-year-old Quinte West man is facing serious charges following an investigation involving both Quinte West OPP and the United States FBI.
Gregory Thompson is facing two counts of uttering threats to cause death, and criminal harassment.
On Sunday morning, the OPP began an investigation into death threats made against a Quinte West officer.
The Crime Unit then received information from the FBI regarding death threats made against a person living in California, involving Thompson.
He was held for a bail hearing today (Monday) in Belleville court.
