Construction activity in Prince Edward County is continuing to trend upwards.
Building officials report the number of permits issued in April was 72, up from 45 the month previous.
That brings with it a construction value of $9.2 million.
The total so far this year is $28.8 million, up $2.5 million over last year for the same time period.
