We received a nice springtime soaking, but didn’t receive a tremendous amount of rain in the Quinte region yesterday (Wednesday).
According to Environment Canada and readings taken at CFB Trenton, 17.8 mm fell yesterday and that was nowhere near the record rainfall for a May 1 in this area.
Just two years ago in 2017, we were drenched with 52.4 mm, or just over 2 inches, of rain.
