A 44-year-old Quinte West man is now without a licence for 90 days.
Quinte West OPP say on Wednesday around 10 p.m., officers were called to a single vehicle collision involving a lamp post on Hamilton Road.
The driver was arrested and charged with impaired driving.
Along with his licence suspension, his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Smith will appear in court later this morning to answer to the charge.
