A 31-year-old man from Kingston is facing arson charges in relation to a fire in Prince Edward County in March.
Bancroft OPP arrested the man following an unwanted person complaint on March 27 in L’Amable, south of Bancroft.
The man barricaded himself in a home along with a family member.
The Emergency Response Team and Tactics and Rescue Unit attended to help assist in the arrest of the man.
He is facing an arson charge for property damage related to a fire on March 26 in Prince Edward County and two counts of assault with a weapon.
The 31-year-old will appear in Belleville court at a later date.
