Warm and sunny is the current forecast for this weekend and that is good news for those who frequently participate in the annual Jane’s Walk.
Set for this weekend, the walk encourages people to share stories about their neighbourhoods, discover unseen aspects of their communities and use walking or cycling as a way to connect with neighbours.
The free, citizen-led walk honours Jane Jacobs, a writer, urbanist and activist who championed the voices of everyday people in neighbourhood planning and city-building.
It allows people to observe, reflect, share, question and reimagine the places in which we live, work and play.
Walks are set for May 2-5.
