Moira and Stoco Lakes did not exceed 2014 or 2017 water levels. Beaver and Horseshoe Lakes exceeded 2017 water levels but did not exceed the high water levels experienced in 2014.
Many localized road washouts have been reported throughout the Quinte Watershed. The public is advised to obey any posted road closure signs and to contact their municipality for updates on closures.
Staff will continue to monitor conditions and will provide an update if forecasts and conditions change.
A Flood Watch statement notifies that the potential for flooding exists within specific watercourses and municipalities. Municipalities, emergency services and individual landowners in flood-prone areas should prepare.
