Belleville council will again discuss a proposed zoning change to a major subdivision to allow 40 townhouses instead of the originally planned 25 single family homes.
The zoning change in Phase 5 of the Settler’s Ridge development was denied by the city’s planning committee although city staff had recommended approval.
City council deferred a decision on the matter at a recent meeting as the developer had brought forward new information.
At its meeting tomorrow (Tuesday), staff is again recommending approval of the bungalow style townhouses as the application more than meets criteria set out in the city’s Official Plan.
