This spring has seen a number of rain days which has really helped the grass to green up and the trees to start to bud, but it’s not the news many people along the water want to hear right now.
More rain is on the way for the Quinte region.
A special weather statement has been issued by Environment Canada for the Quinte region for Wednesday into Thursday.
The weather agency says a Texas low tracking across southern Ontario is bringing anywhere from 20 to 40 mm of rain with it.
The news comes at a time when flood messaging is in effect for much of central and eastern Ontario and the ground has limited ability to absorb more rainfall.
