UPDATE: Names released in Marmora drug bust

The names of six people drug charges late last Friday (April 26) afternoon have been released.

Central Hastings OPP officers along with those from the East Region Emergency Response Team raided a residence in the Village of Marmora and Lake and seized cocaine and other drugs.

The charges laid included possession and trafficking in drugs, along with possession of the proceeds of crime.

The accused range in age from 17 years-old to 50 years-old and are from Marmora and Lake, Norwood, Haldimand County and Etobicoke.

Three people were held for a bail hearing while three were released to appear in Belleville court May 27.

The names of the accused and charges against them are as follows, according ton OPP:

Steven GLEMBISKI, 35 years of age from Marmora and Lake, Ontario was charged with:

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000., 354(1)(a) CCC (Criminal Code of Canada)
Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine. 5(2) CDSA (Controlled Drugs and Substances Act)
Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – other drugs 5(2) CDSA

Christopher JOHNSON, 50 years of age from Norwood Ontario was charged with:

Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine. 5(2) CDSA
Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – other drugs 5(2) CDSA

Tyler WHEELER, 34 years of age from Marmora and Lake, Ontario was charge with

The three accused will appear on May 27, 2019 in Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.

Justin DAY, 18 years of age from Haldimand County, Ontario was charged with:

Samantha MCQUE, 25 years of age from Marmora and Lake Ontario was charged with:

A 17 year old youth of Etobicoke, Ontario was charged with:

Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine. 5(2) CDSA
Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of Trafficking – other drugs, 5(2) CDSA
Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the Purpose of Trafficking 5(2) CDSA
Fail to Comply with Recognizance 145(3) CCC

The three accused are scheduled for a bail hearing on April 29, 2019 in Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville. The name of the 17 year old accused is being withheld in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
