The province has given Northumberland almost $5 million to help local service delivery and efficiency.
Northumberland – Peterborough South MPP David Piccini says the money to support municipalities will help so that they can find smarter ways to deliver services that support their communities and respect taxpayer dollars.
Northumberland County Warden John Logel says with this unconditional funding, local municipalities will have the flexibility to invest in targeted enhancements that will deliver the greatest value to Northumberland residents.
