Brighton’s mayor says he is looking forward to having a new seniors residence coming to the municipality.
Mayor Brian Ostrander talked to Quinte News about the 120-unit, three-storey retirement facility that will be built at Main Street and Rundle Lane in Brighton.
Ostrander says this is a good news story for Brighton.
The site plan now needs to come before municipal staff.
He says this is a step in the right direction.
The mayor indicated the municipality needs a facility like this.
Ostrander says if everything goes according to plan, and council approves the project, shovels could be in the ground this fall.
