Belleville police are investigating an early morning purse snatching that occurred yesterday (Tuesday) around Moira Street East.
Just after 6 o’clock a woman was on her porch when another woman walked up, verbally abused her and ran off with her purse.
The suspect was wearing jeans, a blue-hooded sweater, had dyed red hair and may have been under the influence of drugs. She was also carrying a garbage bag.
