The Napanee Raiders experienced something new in this year’s Junior “C” playoffs. A loss.
The Grimsby Peach Kings ended Napanee’s 17 game post season winning streak by pulling out a 3-2 victory over the Raiders to even the Schmaltz Cup championship series at one win each.
Two goals by Addison DeTullio and 35 saves from Riley Maskell was the difference in the game. Dayton Kent and Ryan Casselman scored for Napanee.
Game 3 is Friday at 7:30 at the Strathcona Paper Centre.
