Pegasus Cheer Athletic, Belleville’s All Star cheerleading gym scored well at the All Star Nationals held in Niagara Falls. Their teams, Prodigy and Reign, earned second and fourth places in their divisions, respectively.
“Prodigy” is the Mini Level One team. Their athletes range from ages six to eight.
They include Kaelynn Jackett, Scarlette Leduchowski, Emma Wright, Peyton Morrison, Ava McAuley, Callie Rowles, and Eliza Rogers.
“Reign” is the IASF Junior Level Two team. Their athletes range from ages nine to 14.
Athletes include Jazzy Allwood, Sierra Allwood, Taylor Bateman, Madison Blaind, Tessa Candow, Alli Craig, Layla Deeb, Hannah Harrison, Miah Hubble, Harlee Irvine, Kate McCaw, Lily McEwen, Vanessa Mills, Hannah Nabulsi, Jorja Quinn, Nicholas Rogers, Emmy Thomas, and Allison Tran.
Pegasus Cheer owner Liz Yntema says “Nationals is one of the biggest events of the year. Our athletes and coaches train all season to be able to put their best out there on the mats. It’s thrilling to see their hard work and dedication pay off like this.”
Hosted by Canadian Cheer Evolution in Niagara Falls, Nationals had over 360 teams from Canada and the United States compete for the National title.
