The Belleville Police Service responded to 60 calls for service between April 20, 2019 at 5 a.m. and April 21, 2019 at 5 a.m.
Warrants
On April 20, 2019 at 8 p.m., police observed a 35-year-old Belleville woman walking in the city’s west end. The female party was wanted by the Central Hastings OPP on a warrant for failing to appear for court and fingerprints. The female was arrested without incident and later turned over the OPP.
Break & Enter
On April 21, 2019 at 2:30 a.m., police were called to attend Waller Home Hardware on Bridge Street East with regard to a business alarm call. Upon arrival officers observed the front door smashed out. Unknown suspect(s) entered the business and stole a cash register and fled the area prior to police arrival.
