A local lawyer took on a difficult challenge and even under less than ideal conditions Kris Bonn is smiling as he continues his 24 hour Mind over Matter run.
As of 7:30 this morning (Saturday), Bonn had completed 250 laps of the Mary-Anne Sills track in west end Belleville.
That works out to around 100 kilometres or 62 miles. The run, to raise funds for the Brain Injury Association Quinte District, began at 5 in the afternoon yesterday (Friday) and ends at 5 o’clock today.
Bonn says the weather has been “wet and more wet”.
Around $11,000 had been raised of the $15,000 goal at last report. The Mind over Matter run is Bonn’s way of celebrating his 45th birthday.
