The City of Belleville is going to make this year’s Canada Day celebrations bigger and better than before.
The city has received over $14,000 from the Department of Canadian Heritage under the Celebrate Canada component of the Celebration and Commemoration program.
City staff applied for the funding to help enhance the Canada Day celebrations planned at Zwick’s Park.
Mayor Mitch Panciuk says celebrating the beautiful country we call home is an annual tradition in Belleville and he hopes all residents attend the celebration and enjoy the evening fireworks display.
