Charges have been laid by police in one accident that closed the 401 near Napanee today (Wednesday) and charges are anticipated in the second.
Lennox and Addington OPP have charged Michel Morin, a 32-year-old from Quebec with careless driving.

Police say around 6:45 a.m., the tractor trailer he was driving left the roadway and came to rest in the south ditch.
Less than 30 minutes later, another transport approaching the backed up traffic failed to stop and collided with the back of a pickup truck.

Both eastbound lanes were subsequently closed until just before 10 a.m. when one lane was reopened to traffic.
Both lanes were then reopened by noon.
