Tyendinaga Township has passed its operation and capital budget.
At Monday night’s meeting, both budgets were given the green light.
For the average $250,000 home, taxes will go up about $91 a year.
It is about a 1.42% for the average tax payer year over year.
CAO Brad Roach tells Quinte News they have $2.9 million set up in the budget for capital projects.
They include the purchase of a new tandem dump truck, a back hoe, a fire truck, and work on Bouldrick’s Bridge on Shannon Road.
They have also completed a joint application with Lennox and Addington to the federal government, for the creation of a roundabout at Belleville and Deseronto Road.
