Preliminary work continues on work to the Norris Whitney bridge, from Belleville to Rossmore.
Officials with the Ministry of Transportation say the preliminary and environmental assessment study phase is underway.
Work on the bridge is needed, however it is still not known what kind of facelift is to take place.
Next month there will be a public info meeting on the options for the rehabilitation and widening of the bridge, along with the environmental impacts.
