The westbound lanes of the 401 at Joyceville Road remain shut down following a fatality according to the OPP.
Frontenac OPP are investigating the death of a pedestrian near Hwy. 15 overnight.
Police reported a male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by a tractor-trailer.
The name of the deceased will be released once next of kin are notified.
