A Twitter post has led police to a large amount of stolen property and they’ve arrested a suspect as well.
Following a tip that stemmed from the social media post Wednesday, Lennox and Addington OPP executed a search warrant at a home on Galt Street in Bath, on Thursday afternoon, where the stolen items were located.
Fifty-four-year-old Daniel Kennelly has been arrested and charged wtih two counts of theft under $5,000 and one count of possession of stolen property.
He was released under conditions and will be back in court in May.
Police are thanking the public for the tip leading to the arrest and say their investigation is ongoing, with more information to come in the days ahead.
