The Charlotte Checkers did the Belleville Senators a favour last night…..well sort of.
Charlotte came from behind to beat the Cleveland Mosnters 5-4 in overtime. However the point moves Cleveland 2 ahead of Belleville for the final playoff spot in the North Division with two games remaining for both teams.
Charlotte plays Cleveland again tonight. The Senators don’t play until tomorrow afternoon (3:50 on CJBQ) in Toronto then close out the regular season at home Sunday afternoon (2:05) against Rochester.
