UPDATE @ 1:20 p.m.: No injuries have been reported after a fire at a home on Weese Road this morning.
Prince Edward County Firefighters were called to the scene around 10:15 a.m., where smoke and flames could be seen coming from the single-level home.
Quinte News has learned that one person was home at the time and was able to get out safely, with 17 firefighters working to knock down the flames just after noon.
At this point there is no word on a cause, or estimate on damage costs, but the investigation is ongoing.
